Domiciliary Care, Forensic Care, support for people with
Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs,
and Companionship services. All services are designed to promote independence and
dignity in everyday life. Visit our Services page for full details.
We are based in Stockport and deliver services across Greater Manchester.
Please contact us to confirm whether we currently cover your specific area.
Supported Living enables adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, or complex
needs to live in their own home or a shared property with tailored, 24-hour support from our trained staff.
The goal is to maximise independence while ensuring safety and wellbeing.
Domiciliary Care (also called home care) means our staff visit you or your loved one at their home to
provide support with daily tasks — personal care, medication, meals, and social activities — without the
need to move into a care home.
In some circumstances we may be able to support urgent placements. Please contact
us directly to discuss your situation and we will do our best to assist you.
Referrals
Referrals can be made by individuals, family members, social workers, NHS teams, or local authorities.

Staffing
All Gian Healthcare staff undergo enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks
before starting work. They also complete a comprehensive induction programme, mandatory training in
safeguarding, medication management, and health and safety, with ongoing professional development.
We strive for consistency and match staff to individuals based on compatibility, skills, and experience.
Where possible, a core team of carers is allocated to each person to build familiarity, trust, and
continuity of care.
Our staff hold or are working towards relevant qualifications including QCF Level 2/3 in Health
and Social Care. Senior staff and managers hold higher-level qualifications. We also invest in
specialist training for areas such as forensic care, autism, and mental health.
